Free Will Quote

Jawaharlal Nehru said "Life is like a game of cards. The hand you are dealt is determinism; the way you play it is free will." This means that everyone is determined to live the life they want, but the choices they make to get there is all up to them. This quote is right the choices you make "in the game" can affect whether you win or lose in the world. This can be clearly seen in Go Ask Alice by an anonymous author. In the book there are many great examples of free will. The whole book is based on the free will of Alice and whether she follows the in crowd, going to a party, and if she should give in to the temptations of fitting in to a new school.

  1. Pretty good introduction in good format but little errors like there needs to be a "," after the title.

  2. This is a really good paragraph. I noticed no grammar errors. All the sentences went well together. You didn't use first person which is positive. the only suggestion was I only saw two points in your thesis statement. Besides that the paragraph was good.

  3. Great post, Cameron! I really like how you followed the outline perfectly and wrote clear sentences. I think that you could add a some comma's to a couple sentences. It is really good that you didn't use the word 'I' at all in your paragraph. I think for the main topics, the second one might need a little more added to it. Is she going to a High School party or a Grown up party? I really liked the paragraph and think it is very well written. You did a great job explaining it an giving great details. Chandler Kinser
